Bhagavatpada Jayanti Puja

 A day in remembrance of Bhagavatpada, widely known as Adi Shankara and his teaching.

The Puja gives an opportunity for everybody to offer Dakshina/donations, flowers, make pranam and be blessed.

Followed by a Satsanga

A Puja, a traditional offering of flower petals with Sanskrit chanting, and Meditation. There will also be a short talk on theme of the world famous and renowned 8th Century Saint Adi Shankara of India. 

Adi Shankara is famous for his teachings of the Oneness of all beings Inner Nature or Soul expounded through the Indian philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. The Ashram in Forden, Abhedashram, offers these teachings in the light of Adi Shankara and Sage Patanjali for everybody's personal daily meditations and how they can be applied in a practical and useful way in our mundane and spiritual lives.
